Buildat hosting

This is a hosting service for Buildat servers. If you want a server for your friends, your class or your community but would rather not run a machine for it yourself, we run one for you. Each server has its own address, https://name.buildat.app, and players join it from their browser.

A server here can run one of these:

• An app from an Aitta, Buildat's app repository, such as aitta.buildat.org. You pick the app and the server follows its releases.
• One of Buildat's own apps: vanilla, floorplanner or hearth.
• A Luanti game, run through vanilla. Its admin installs the game in-game from ContentDB.

This is a paid service, now in a closed beta. During the closed beta it is free: an invitation gives you one server for a year. Before your year ends, you can start a paid subscription to keep the server, or download its data and take it elsewhere.

To take part, sign in with your Starport ID and apply for an invitation. Once you have one, you can make your server. On its page you can start and stop it, read its output, download and upload its data, and take it back to one of the last three days.

A hosted server gets nothing from the official Starport or Aitta that a self-hosted one does not.
